A Seaside Festival Wedding by the sea
This wedding was always meant to feel like a celebration rather than a formal event — and from day one, the brief was clear: festival by the sea, sunset cocktails, and a crowd that knew how to party.
The Vision: A relaxed, high-energy wedding with a festival feel, set against the backdrop of the water. The couple wanted colour, movement and music — nothing stiff, nothing over-styled. The goal was joy, connection and a long, unforgettable evening.
The Setting: A marquee by the coast, positioned to make the most of the sunset. Timing was everything here — planning the flow of the day so guests moved seamlessly from ceremony to cocktails as the sun dipped into the sea. The light did the rest.
The Styling & Details: Colourful marquee flags dancing in the breeze. Bright, bold florals layered with ribbons for movement. Fairy lights and festoon lighting to carry the party into the night. Cocktails flowing freely — relaxed but considered
Everything was designed to feel vibrant and effortless, while still being carefully planned behind the scenes.
The Music & Atmosphere: Live music set the tone early, creating that festival hum from the first drink. As the evening unfolded, the energy built naturally — laughter, dancing, barefoot moments and a crowd completely in the moment.
Planner’s Takeaway....
Festival weddings work when structure meets freedom. Clear timings, thoughtful lighting and a strong flow allow guests to relax fully — and that’s when the magic happens. This was a wedding that felt spontaneous, joyful and completely alive, without ever losing its sense of intention.
A true celebration. A proper party. And a sunset that no one will forget.
