Hi, I'm Caroline!

I feel incredibly lucky to be a wedding planner in Cornwall working in such a creative industry, that is filled with so many talented people. As a creative, I have a passion for creating beautiful weddings in Cornwall filled with fun and great memories. It’s important for my couple’s to feel like they know me and can trust me with their day. Each and every one of my couple's weddings are just as important to me and you'll often see me tearing up during the ceremony or first dance, or hitting the dance floor!

Highly regarded within Cornwall’s wedding industry I have planned weddings for over 15 years, with couples from all over the world. Specialising in marquee and tent weddings along with dry-hire venues, my aim is to allow my couples to fully enjoy the planning process whilst delivering the wedding they always dreamed of.

My Why

From the lush green countryside to the epic coastline on my doorstep, I think Cornwall is the most magical place, any time of the year. Cornwall comes with a chilled vibe which is why I love marquee weddings and the suppliers I work with. I absolutely LOVE weddings and will never get bored talking about them. From beach weddings to country chic I am at the heart of every wedding, enjoying it in the exact way your family and friends do.

How I Met My Husband:

My husband Rick and I were best friends at school (over 30 years ago) and have known each other since we were 11. He had a crush on me however I didn’t feel the same! We went our separate ways when I left our home town of Looe to study at university. 15 years later we re kindled our friendship whilst travelling around Australia. We decided to relocate there ‘as friends’ and 2 years later we were engaged! It was spontaneous and nothing planned at all which is very unlike me!

Fun Facts:

•  I always look at a menu on line before I go out for dinner.

•  I am half Italian on my Dads side.

•  I have three boys. 5 year old Reggie and 2 year old twins Leo and Lenny. They are all IVF miracles!

• I jumped out of a plane at 15,000 ft for chairty and hated every second of it!

• I have travelled all around the world.

• I love cleaning and why I couldn’t ever hire one!

• I own one of Cornwall’s leading bridal boutiques Bridal Gossip.

Experience

I very quickly realised that I love to plan. After studying art as well as a degree in graphic design I fell in love with the world of project management. Working in corporate, and education I gained useful skills in events and logistics but knew I wanted something more creative. After travelling my journey in the wedding industry began in a family-run Italian restaurant - the diversity of busy weekends, whilst celebrating so many different occasions with guests. I trained and worked as a chef and a restaurant manager alongside various roles within hospitality and events, leaving me skilled in menu compilation, operations, and coordination. I started offering table styling and wedding favours to customers getting married at the restaurant and my passion for being a part of the planning evolved. I moved to Australia and worked for a start up company in events to gain some more experience and once I returned I started working for some of Cornwalls leading wedding venues and ran 100’s of weddings. I knew my knowledge and skills could go further and Caroline Griffiths evolved. Also owning one of Cornwall’s leading Bridal Boutiques Bridal Gossip I am immersed in weddings daily and love every minute of it!
